Terms of Service
Updated October 5, 2026
Operator and scope
ChangeMyCV is operated by Oleksii Ktitarov, self-employed in Austria. Address and contact: imprint. These terms cover creating, editing, saving and exporting resumes and cover letters. You must be at least 18 to buy a paid plan, or have the necessary authorisation from your parent or guardian.
Your documents and AI
You retain your rights in your inputs. We may process them only to provide requested features, operate your library and protect the service. AI generation sends your submitted experience and job details to Groq. Review every draft: AI can make mistakes. Do not invent qualifications or submit other people's confidential information without permission. No employment outcome, recruiter acceptance or ATS score is guaranteed.
Plans and allowance
Free includes 2 resume generations and 3 letter generations per account, lifetime. Prices are shown and charged in your local currency (US, Australian or Canadian dollars, euros or pounds) before tax. Applicable VAT, GST or sales tax is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Basic costs $9 USD before tax per 30-day billing period and includes 20 successful AI documents shared across resumes and letters. Pro costs $19 USD before tax per 30-day period and includes unlimited personal job-search generation. Each successful draft uses one generation; manual edits and downloads do not use the allowance. Failed requests do not consume a document credit. Pricing and storage limits are shown on the pricing page.
Active Basic subscribers may buy 5 extra successful generations for $3 USD before tax as a one-time pack. Purchased credits are shared across document types and do not expire after renewal or cancellation. Included allowance is used first. A pack does not create another subscription. A refund or dispute can reverse corresponding credits, including credits already spent.
Payment and cancellation
Whop processes checkout and recurring billing. The final checkout shows applicable taxes and the total before you pay. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled. Manage or cancel through your Whop orders before renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access normally remains until the paid period ends. Included unused period allowance does not roll over. Cancellation and withdrawal are separate rights.
Withdrawal and refunds
Where EU/EEA consumer withdrawal rules apply, you generally have 14 days from conclusion of an online service contract to withdraw. A generation or download alone does not automatically waive that right. We do not rely on a waiver of withdrawal rights through these terms. Mandatory rights for defective services, refunds and remedies remain unaffected.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to the operator contact in the imprint, stating your name, account email, purchase date and order reference. Do not send card details. You may use: “I hereby withdraw from my contract for ChangeMyCV, purchased on [date], order [reference]. Name: [name]. Account email: [email]. Date: [date].” You may also use the Whop order support/refund controls; operator contact remains available independently.
Fair use and availability
Do not automate generation, resell access, share accounts, create duplicate accounts to bypass limits, or submit bulk workloads. One generation at a time and short request limits apply to every plan. Security controls or service outages may temporarily pause generation. Where possible, editing and downloads remain available. If paid service cannot be provided, contact the operator for applicable remedies.
Responsibility and suspension
Use accurate information and review generated documents before sending. We may restrict abusive or unlawful activity and will provide notice and a way to raise an objection when feasible. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, or remove mandatory consumer remedies.
Privacy, applicable law and changes
See the privacy notice for processing and retention. Austrian law applies subject to mandatory protections available under the law of your habitual residence; no exclusive venue is imposed on consumers. Material changes will be communicated before taking effect. Existing statutory rights remain unaffected.
